ch.2, pg.62: “Reflectives”
Goldie’s dialogue comes courtesy of one of my friends. He said that once about his own dog, though he was being affectionate. Thanks, JT!

Poor little Velty. :(
Will anyone try to trust the little guy ? :(
Don’t they all see that he isn’t a threat and is trying to be their friend ? :(
Someone already did. :)
I can understand the team having reservations befriending someone with disease and decay-themed powers. Although Cindy should watch her potty mouth in the presence of a child’s toy. XD
That’s Goldie. She’s the “honey badger” of the team. She doesn’t give a ….
Though I don’t doubt Cindy has some choice words after what happened to her animals. She’ll keep them two herself of course, probably with a slightly maniacal smile, but they’re there.
Yyeeaaaaah, I dunno why I said Cindy. :x
Well I for one would be glad to welcome “The Bubonic Bunny” onto the team.
Wait, that doesn’t sound right. We need a name with a positive spin. The Plague Plushy? The Radioactive Rabbit? Lethal Lagomorph?
Lethal Lepus;) Actually, I think I’ll just call him the Sigh Master at this point LOL.
its never lupus
sigh master sounds like an exercise machine, feel the burn work those lungs
I say we call him Ralph.
At this point I wish to don a biohazard suit and give the rabbit a hug. Poor thing needs one so badly.
We actually live with a real Velvy. Our cat, Siimuum. She’s old, always been sick, and she messes herself anytime she sneezes, coughes, etc. She’s pretty gross but all she wants is love and hugs. Yes, I’ve taken her to the vet several times. She’s chronic… everything.
i had a cat like that too, he lived to a ripe old age of 22 or 23 not exactly sure
he was more like a grouchy old man though
Sounds like my old cat, Smoker. He drooled, which was about the limit of his grossness, but he was such a dick. Hated being touched, but wanted attention. Kind of a messed up cat. Suspect it was the head trauma.
Tough old coot, though. Lived to be seventeen. I still miss him.
Hm… No one has asked why the panels are circles. Anyone know why? O.O
They’re all from Velvatine’s point of view. The circle is the shape of his eye which is a button.
ummm…cuz we’re looking at them through Velvy’s eyes? Poor guy.
I wanna squeeze ‘im!
Yup, that is exactly why:)
Poor Velvy…
I have to say that I really enjoy the visual presentation of this particular strip. I know why the panels are round (cuz you told me, haha!) but it’s also just neat to look at. It’s a nice change from the traditional block/square comic format.
