Whew! I finally got to show what all the characters are doing! If you can’t read it, the action dialogue under Goldie’s Excalibur says “-slidethru-“. The sword didn’t whack Granny this time. It just slid through her.

Grimm fairy tales are back
Looks like one of the “grannies” maybe fake if they pass through Excalibur like that.
I know it’s kinda cheating, but it feels like if they could get close enough to the real Granny, they could just steal the shard from her back and leave. After all, if without the shard, things go back to normal, if they can get the shard, their work is done.
I think Granny would have a problem with that ;) She’s already putting up a fight. She might get more vicious if someone just lunged at her.
Ok, so maybe not totally cheating, since it would take some work to get it. It still feels like cheating, though.
As someone part of an RP group that only had one opportunity to “recover” a shard from a living being in the field and our analysis proved it would kill the subject.
It may have been said that the shard itself was also tied to certain parts of the subject’s anatomy and it’s removal would be fatal.
It may have also been said that the subject was so injured the shard was keeping the subject alive.
I say no spoilers about whom since our story happened a bit different than the comic did.
