Mein Schnee (“My Snow”) Cover
And here is the cover for “Mein Schnee” (‘My Snow’ in German). Any guesses?
This, by the way, marks the last journal story arc. After this, it is back to the comic! That is the plan, anyway:)

It has to do with either Snow White or the Snow Queen and given your previous mentioning of this story it’s more of the former than the latter.
I can’t wait to see who’s the team for this event is. :)
Though which Snow White?
Snow White and Rose Red?
Or Snowdrop and the Seven Dwarfs?
Or Varda Elentári? (Snow-white being one of the English translations of an Elvish call-name of hers, though “Ever-white” may have been closer…)
I could probably keep going, I’m sure that the two fairy tales I mentioned weren’t the only ones with a “Snow White” character in, for example. (even when you don’t count different versions as different stories)
All I will say about the third possibility is that if you dare to make Varda Elentári a villain, I will not be the only one who has strong words for you.
I won’t say anything at this point but I love all the guesses!
That’s ‘Snowdrop’ as in the Tanith Lee story? Very good but (what a surprise!) very dark. My guess would be that we’ll see two (or more) of the ‘Snow White’ characters in this story. Well, we’ll just have to wait and read. (drat!!! but it will be worth the wait… once we get to the finish)
Noted that there is blood on the desk or table (including right under the point of the pack-ax) but no blood on the pick-ax itself. Interesting.
Very clever, Stonefoot. I will say this more than once for this story, I am sure but here goes… Prior Shards stories have gone a little dark, like Sweeney Toddler, but this one goes worse in its original rp-played incarnation. We shall see how dark it actually gets in this comic version >;)
I was thinking Snow Queen at first, but Snow White makes sense too given the pickaxe.
