Something tells me that Cindy was still reeling from her anger unleashed moments ago and that is why she is a bit angry with the others. However, while Goldie has a point in finding ALL of the 7 dwarfs in one place…Miss Muffet did needed medical attention. Shouldn’t that matter first ?
Plus, Cindy DID. Recovered the Shard by herself through her own anger and she should check whether or not she can touch it.
Besides WHO KNOWS WHAT GOLDILOCKS USES HER SHARD PIECES FOR, RIGHT ?
Cin does seem affected by the shard, though some of that has to be from all that stress they’ve just been through, and through, and through… Do they pause once in a while to wonder if this will ever be finished?
Anyhoo, I think Ali and Gol are affected by the shard, and by the situation in general, quite a lot themselves. (I’m giving them all 3-letter names. I don’t want to seem to be playing favorites when they’re already wound up like they are.) Each affected in different ways and to different degrees, naturally.
So, here we are, the quest almost finished (Or is it?), and there are still so many questions. “Sorry” but you’ll just have to keep writing, drawing, designing, adventuring, and all that….
Besides, if you don’t, there might be a ‘real world’ quest to find someone (you?) to continue Shards. We needs it! Precious! (Where did that come from? I didn’t write that!???)
Marcus Martin> Cindy did indeed nab the shard from the dwarf. Shows how scary she was a moment ago! There’s a bit more to what’s going on here but I can’t explain some of it yet. That’s for Chapter 4.
stonefoot> Heh. Don’t worry. We have the answers. We just have to mete them out in an artsy-writerly way *smirk* And nicknames are fine. Cin and Cindy are Goldie’s preferentials to refer to Cinderella. Goldie could care less what someone calls her. Pretty sure Alice likes her name the way it is. Miss Muffet likes any attention:) In the second SHARDS book I started working on (while trying to get the first published), I actually have a scene between Velvy and Dr. Muffet that talks about nicknames. That’s all I can say about that right now ;) Jack is pretty much a nickname in himself. Dorothy has so many people in her, she needs a few and Jack has provided us with some: Scare-D, Sherlock, “Lee”, Tin-D, and simply “D” referring to Dorothy herself. Nicknames can be fun:)
And there is no “sorry”. You must all be willing subjects and read that which we bequeath unto you! So onward! More SHARDS ahoy!

I hear (read) and obey. That’s why I put “sorry” in quotes in the first place.
I expect “We hear and obey” would apply for most readers, but I’m not going to put words in their mouths. ;-}} (You can get bitten trying to do that!)
(signed) Your willing subject.
Yay! I have a subject!
