“A Pound Of Gruff”: Jack’s Journal Pg. 5
Jack again! And his colorful language:) If you’re curious about his accent, he is a mix of Australian and British. Oh, and “chook” is Aussie slang for a chicken:)

Well Jack deserved that mocking laughter for his impatience. He maybe the oldest within the group, but he isn’t the wisest of them.
Hopefully Dorothy has better luck than they are.
Which begs the question, that excluding Dr. Muffet and Mother Goose, who is the oldest Shard hero and who is the youngest ?
That is a good point and question, Marcus! TB and I have decided that Velvy is the youngest, with Miss Muffet, then Alice, then David (given their bio ages). The oldest is a lot harder to peg down. Existing in stories, before shard interference, all characters are in a loop that refreshes so it wouldn’t matter how old their story is. After shard interference, both Goldie and Dorothy have aged a bit, so I guess Dorothy would also be considered a kid as well. TB and I think that it might be either Goldie or Humpty or perhaps even Jack. All three are currently adults. Unlike Dorothy, who aged in the blink of an eye after shard interference, Goldie had a shard longer and her timeline seemed to move faster. She is highly skilled in ninja-type subversion and is older than she should be, as is Red, so I’d say the shard interference has made Goldie older than she’d normally be. That counts, to me, as being older than most of the other heroes. Cindy is approximately 17 or 18 but has much less world experience. David has world experience but is younger than Goldie, so it seems to depend on what you’d consider to be “older”?
