How do ya like the coloring? This thing took me about 11 hours! Ergh. There’s GOTTA be a faster way… I also think I should try making the pics bigger. Details are getting lost when I do them that small. And it might be harder to figure a few things out on this one. Hanstel is simple. Chocolate! Jack is actually depressed cuz it appears he’d really like a smoke. Him and combustables don’t mix. Dorothy misses her old life with Toto. “No place like home” syndrome. Same with Humpty. If you’ve kept up with the strips, the Alice/Miss Muffet one is relating to Alice still getting used to the spider kiddo. More on that in strips to come. This strip is kind of a slice of what goes on in the off-time. I’ll try to put these up from time to time because they’re fun:) Hope you enjoy, and the little heart accents that will be up just for this week.
Ippi and Dave> :) Glad ya like it.
Auragongal> sorry to hear that. I just run on the idea that it’d be fun to do the characters in holiday settings/situations. Look forward to maybe a lil’ something for Saint Patrick’s Day and Easter. Heh:)
One thing, that I think artist Richard Kane Fergusson does, what I assume, is make the art large, and then shrink it down when you digitalize it. He does have some AMAZING Artwork (I know his work mostly through Magic: The Gathering cards). His artwork is painting quality. So much detail, it is hard to find them all it seems.
I had to pop in again because I was uploading tomorrow’s Selkie comic and (finally?) noticed the updated Shards advert, where Lil’ Muffet pops up all surprisingly. Love it!!
I am glad you clarified Jack’s thoughts, because I read it as, “Damn, but I do love myself.”
Dave> He does. Believe me ;) Glad you love the ad. I had a ball making it! Need my ads to be more fun. That’s in the right step me-thinks:) Awesome Selkie storyline, too!
D’AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
… If The time before and after Valentines didn’t always suck for me every year, I’d like this more.
Oh well.
Gonna have to agree with Ippi. D’aaaaawwww.
