Still, at least they finally found Scrooge. Plus Ticky-Tocky-Tavi and the Blue Fairy ?!?
Wasn’t Ticky-Tocky-Tavi last seen following the Cat and Fox of Pinocchio ?
If so then how did it get captured ?
Also David knew this was the wrong time to ask to confront his destiny once they found the Blue Fairy/angel. I mean there are more important things at hand here than a battle of sizes….like the life of a teammate ?
Or did David forget that ?
Still now that Scrooge is free maybe now the story can revert itself back to normal.
The Cat and Fox are bad guys. David knew that. Velvy knew that, too. Before this, last ya heard, Cindy said she heard Tavi having fun so she had David focus on reorienting the story. What she did not know is that he was having fun with Fox and Cat and as soon as the Heroes left, they let Want and Ignorance cage him. All of this was off camera, so to speak.
David uses sound to locate shards. This is a new ability. More importantly, he can detect what does not belong in a story — something not native to the story– by a similar method. He uses his music. It is similar to using a tuning fork. He can hear what is out of tune. David therefore has an excellent ear.
Yes David is aware of his selfishness. But note that he does it anyway. All Shards characters have flaws. It’s fun to finally show you one of David’s: his obsession with his destiny in confronting Goliath. Can’t be helped, really. He does not feel like himself and won’t until he is back in his story. I would recimmend rereading David’s first two or so entries in this Journal story arc to get a better handle on it.
