    Yay! Jack okay!

    Well, he’s alive anyway.

Ouch! Poor Jack. I guess this is why he hates going explodey.

Webcomic heroes have determined that exploding may be detrimental to your health.

    Auragongal> Yep:) He’s okay…. ish.

Dave> Yup. Whenever another heat source comes into contact with his own fire, explodey-much happens. It isn’t just throwing more fire onto a big fire. He turns into something like dynamite, hence the explosion. Unlike Humpty, Jack doesn’t get to regenerate all the damage. If you look close, there’s a bone or two protruding this time. That was one really big boom. They usually try to test the limits of distance from heat source in Dr. Muffet’s lab with a very small source of heat, not a constant flame like a lighter, so Jack could guess what was going to happen by agreeing to be dynamite. See? Experiments are useful! Go, Dr. Muffet!

    Rags> Indeed. Indeed>;P

Oh, and Jack’s clothes are about as resistant to his fire and any resultant exploding as Jack himself is, so you might not see a naked Jack. Sorry to disappoint:) Although I’m fine drawing nekkid characters, I’d prefer to get paid to do it, ha ha. That, and he’d be running around this story trying to find clothes:) I thought it was dragging on enough already.
