Well, she might not be impressed because he seems the most like the men her mother warned her about, Alice being a kid and all. She also has no idea what he can do aside from smoke up a room and be loud :)

So, I totally underestimated you guys. All this time I assumed Dr. Muffet was directly created for the comic, versus being a story-inspiration like the others. But I read the “historical figure” notation in his bio and some google-fu later…
Heh. Yes, we do our research and when we found out that Dr. Thomas Muffet was a real person, we jumped on it. Although the poem was written approximately 2 centuries after his death, it is rumored that it is based on an incident with one of his step-children. But, no, he did not write it. He was too much into books on spiders and insects to bother with such silly things:)

It’s actually unfair of me to bring the characters up. I have been meaning to bring them up again after putting up the link to their first appearance on each one, for the heroes as well as the opposing factions. Fall months are often the busiest so I’m a bit behind on where I wanted to be for the extra content. I need more full color art, the links to their first appearance, updated King Arthur and his knights bio pages as far as has been revealed right now, the Fairy Godmother, a new donate button, hopefully fixing how the archive works and making it easier to navigate, and perhaps a contest or donation drive for extra strips.
I’m actually starting prep for a con and a two week florist course in Sept. Then October hits which is full of birthdays, Halloween, Anniversary, baby shower… Then I’m due in November. So I apologize if the new extra content is delayed. I’m struggling to get ahead so I don’t have to resort to filler content too much during these next few months. I don’t want the story flow interrupted, though I might add filler once or twice a month. Two for sure because there are two holidays:)

Yes Dr. Muffet has a shard. It is in Miss Muffet’s Prologue. You see it appear in his pocket :).
