I got to draw a lot of Toto in this strip. I thought he’d be a real challenge but he’s less detailed than Dorothy so it makes him more fun, and easier to draw.

Historically: In the original “Wizard Of Oz”, the good witch says that the Munchkins believe Dorothy is a good witch also because she wears the color of good witches (white) and they also like Dorothy because she wears the color of the Munchkins (blue). Dorothy does indeed wear a blue and white checked dress in the story but for simplicity, I gave her a simple blue (gray here) dress with a white undershirt. I’m kinda tempted to keep her in black and white colors even if I do a colored strip but the book and the movie emphasized color so much… What do you think?

With dorothy a composite being/cyborg, and toto’s now a Cerebrus; this strikes me as being…the Wizard of ODD!

I thik that would be a nice way to emphasise that this is different to the iconic movie.
