    Run, you flying Monchichis, run!

And in the third panel we finally get to see all of the different “Dorothys”. This was so far my favorite strip to draw because of the multiple heads. So fun to draw! By the way, I’ve done pin-up sketches of these four and the general concensus is that Scarecrow Dorothy is the hottest. Sorry. Not gonna reveal those just yet. Those are for a special occasion *tease tease*

In other news, yet another pose I had a lot of trouble finding: the back of a raised right foot. Sigh. Had to whip out my camera and snap a shot off to try and make a decent sketch. Feet are hard to draw when they are barefoot! Them and five-fingered hands. I mean, come on! What was (insert origin belief here) thinking! Four fingers is plenty to draw, and I’m sure I might be able to live without a pinky. It’s the whole reconfiguring a keyboard for four fingers that would be tough…

    Aww, poor Tin Man.

It’s been a decade or two since I read the books, but I seem to remember something about things in Oz not dying even if you cut them into bits? But that doesn’t jive with the Tin Man being afraid he’d step on bugs and kill them… I should definitely read them again.

Currently we are only basing shards off of the very first Oz book. There were several books in which Dorothy did return to Oz. The Tin Man always felt awful at even the thought of harming something innocent; however, he also cuts off the heads of 40 wolves and 40 crows and doesn’t seem to show much remorse. Within the first book there were no creatures aside from the scarecrow that could pull themselves back together. Please keep commenting! We love them!

Fair enough then! I read all the ones by Baum Himself, and they’re pretty well muddled together in my hazy 6-year-old’s memories. Mostly I remember the delightful art in the first book.

I like the premise of your story, and I’m looking forward to reading more as they come. :D

meh, typing with four fingers wouldn’t be so bad if you were used to it. Even on a normal keyboard.

It does feel kind of weird though. And I keep hitting \ instead of backspace.

Dorothy leveled up! Increased courage and intelligence stats. You still feel empty inside.
