Hm… Maybe Humpty has more of a problem than he thought?
Okay I am kind of surprised to see Humpty being a smoker as I would assume that either Jack and/or Goldie would smoke a bit considering their own behavior problems. Humpty smoking is a surprise given his usual laid back attitude approach to everyone despite his ongoing pain.
Also nice hint at where we are going into the next strips as I cannot wait to see how the shard truly changed Oz since Dorothy and crew left.
The Egg-man is known for many things. He has always been seen at leisure smoking (smoking what, I will leave be. And I am COMPLETELY anti-smoking, but characters do what characters do) and telling terribly punny jokes. And if anyone is wondering why he doesn’t do his terrible pun jokes around Velvy, it is because he sees Velvy as an equal in age and not some kid… which is totally not true LOL.
