“Mein Schnee” 134: Miss Muffet’s Journal, Pg.27
Miss Muffet’s back! And she brought an excess of energy and waaaay too much red crayon. Got any crayon left after all that red coloring job?
And it looks like WordPress just won’t let me delete anything I post, even when I try to save over the old deleted file… The bottom journal is the correct one, not the top. The “spider voice” text was missing, as seen in the above one. Miss Muffet was just too eager to get that strip to the press! I don’t blame her. I’ve missed seeing the Miss, too!
The difficult path to balance between Miss Muffet and her monster side is a long winding one. If only there was an invention that could let the team go into each other’s mind to find out how to fix the unbalanced parts between the teammates.
In other words: If only there was someway for the team to help Miss Muffet find balance/agreement between herself and her monster side whenever she’s on these missions ?
Interesting! (Spock?) I see two copies, but I can’t find any difference. Both have the ‘spider voice’ like ‘ALWAYS STAY. ALWAYS HERE.’ right before the rip in the paper.
And like what… 6 months back? I still think the most important difference between Miss Muffet and Alice is that Alice is one person who (without the EMDM medicine) is driven over the edge by her anger, fear, etc. While Miss Muffet is sane the whole time, but sharing her mind and body with a second person – the Spider, and when there’s too much anger, fear, and hunger in the mix she loses out and the Spider takes control. She’s still in there, trying to get control back, but that’s not easy. When Alice loses it, there’s no one sane there – It’s still just Alice – but she’s crazy.
And beyond that I still don’t have a full understanding of the interaction between Miss Muffet and the Spider.
Oh, sure, NOW they do! LOL.
Stonefoot> That is a very good description. You are about 75% there :) I actually cover it a lot in the novelization of SHARDS I’ve been working at for six months. TB helped me stumble across the perfect analogy of those two. I might reveal it another time but will hold off for now. Know that you are being very observant and see almost all sides ;)
We can get really close to knowing a lot about how the characters are and act because they are written well.
Aw, that is the best compliment ever!
