By the looks of things, Gretel really didn’t like getting cut off.
Also, not sure “anti-samurai” actually means anything… Unless it’s something that gets rid of samurai, which would mean that it is likely to be another samurai.
(It certainly wouldn’t mean ninja or thief, unless as a part of the more generic “against samurai” meaning in which case it would be personal and not due to them being a ninja or thief)
Now time to run from that thing chasing me and hide until it goes away again.
I will say that is what Hansel sees. For me, it is foreshadowing and serendipity that he chose that custom made descriptor. Needless to say it was an insult in that he knows samurai are traditionally honorable and as a ninja Goldie most certainly appears so far to have no honor. Again, this is how he views her and samurai.
