Question I got from reading the comments on the last strip:
You said that the drawing was “pretty much how Cindy sees Miss Muffet.” Do the shards affect how the characters see the world, or is this just Cindy’s aversion to crawlies at play?
Glad you picked that up! I was actually insinuating that’s how she sees Miss Muffet in her head and deems her more in the creepy crawly category but, as Cindy appears to like all critters (referencing how she literally summoned bees to do her bidding) I don’t think she minds spiders. Miss Muffet has a fear of spiders. How does Cindy actually view Miss Muffet the person? Yeah… Kinda creeps her out. But, to clarify, certain characters appear differently to different heroes/key figures. One in particular keeps cropping up and will be a big point next chapter: Fairy Godmother/Blue Fairy. I generally refer to her as Blue Fairy Godmother but, in reality, three of the heroes see clearly different people when looking at the same individual. Blue Fairy Godmother does not have a shard herself but runs errands for Mother Goose, namely as a messenger and portent for good things to come. She’s a symbol of hope and as that symbol, she appears differently to different people. If one were to ask what she actually looks like, the answer is, “Depends on who is looking at her.” She is a shape-drifter and her form only solidifies based on the beliefs and views of those around her. Blue Fairy Godmother is, by the way, the only character we have shown who has this quality; however, others exist.
Wow just say a magic word and he awakens. Now let’s see if the gang could get some answers.
Isn’t Dorothy in this team on this adventure ? If so, then maybe now it’s time she gets a chance to keep the story going ?
Either that or have Hansel and Scarecrow Dorothy go at it in a scientific discussion on what to do next ?
No Dorothy this adventure: only Hanstel, Alice, Goldie, Miss Muffet and Cindy.

Oh yeah, Blue Fairy Godmother! I had kind of forgotten about her in all this. Thanks for the reminder, and for the answer! :)
