Darkness….Hmmm, even I’m confused as of which Dwarf could be controlling this area of darkness that is hard enough for anyone to see.
I mean even Goldie’s bright hair is limited in this area.
Since this is based upon the 7 deadly sins, I am curious as of how this revolves around the darkness that the team is in.
I can almost see Gretel doing a blacken picture when she and Hansel have their journal entry in the future. Too bad Hansel can’t build anything to make the brightness bigger.
I go along with Sleepy and Sloth for Ichiban… I mean Eins. (Ichiban does mean number one, but it often means #1 as in ‘the best’. I’m withholding judgement on the good or bad qualities of the dwarves (spell check wants ‘dwarfs’, but I disagree) until we know the whole story.)
For Zwei, I think you said he represents lust. Which would imply that lust is not bad for representing sexual attraction, but for excessive (and therefore harmful) attraction, regardless of the object of desire. That interpretation makes sense to me anyway. My guess for which dwarf Zwei would be is Happy, because he gives them things which (while they are under his spell) make them happy. I think it was Alice who mentioned that the last of the cookie didn’t really taste particularly good, after the spell was broken.
We could call Zwei ‘Niban’ or ‘Second’. Does anyone know whether the brothers Grimm knew Japanese?
Yes, dead-on about Zwei! Desire, not sexual lust. And the dwarf equates to “Bashful” ;) It is due to the shard influencing opposites where applicable and the opposite of bashful is lust.
If Eins is influenced by opposites I don’t see how he could be Sleepy. Maybe Happy? Or maybe Sleepy is an exception; possibly he just doesn’t have the energy to be anything other than Sloth? idk ;-}}
I’ve been trying to match dwarves with sins (or their opposites) but there just aren’t enough clues yet. It’s going to be ‘wait & see’ for a while yet…again.
Only most are influenced by their opposites ;) Sleepy = Sloth = Eins in this case, just as Bashful = Lust/Desire = Zwei in the second level of this “dungeon crawl”. Heh. This one they are stumbling into is… interesting.

Yep. Gretel has his bag o materials for building. Not that he couldn’t use anything on-hand, though in this particular room there isn’t much…
I have a question: Which of the seven deadly sins have I used so far in Eins and Zwei? And which of the seven dwarfs were they?
Enis was Sleepy Dwaf and I think the sin was based on Sloth.
However I”m confused on which Sin that Zwei is based on is either Gluttony and/or Greed ? I’m also confused on which Dwaf that Zwei is based on ?

Apologies in advance, but my brain keeps finding these weird connections and I have to get them out or go crazy:
Zwei is very trying, so we could call him Avis. (He’s #2 so he tries harder!)
No, the brothers did not know Nippon lol.
