So Miss Muffit is linked to envy in some way, but I don’t see any connection. The most plausible I can see would be if the others envy her speed and strength. I may have missed (or forgotten) some obvious clue, but I don’t recall anything consistent with that. This isn’t going anywhere….
Our other clue is that striking the floor hurts Drei’s head (and also Miss Muffit’s of course). This suggests that they are, in some sense, inside Drei’s head… that is, I think, inside his mind. Does he envy the heroes because Miss Muffit is ‘on their side’? Or he could envy Miss Muffit because of her relationship with the other heroes (thinking it better than his with the other dwarves)? Too many possibilities to get anywhere on this track either….
This one is tricky. Now you know how the heroes feel, trying to sort it out! Obviously they can’t just blast the floor either or they’ll really hurt Miss Muffet. We shall see, eh?
