Pictured below is Cindy’s necklace on which is held the wedding ring her prince gave her. It was never placed upon her finger, rendering her still a bride-to-be. Instead of a normal gem, the mounting holds half of a shard. Just as Hansel and Gretel share half each of a single shard embedded in their teeth, Cinderella and her prince share this shard, he having the other half. If you recall, when Arthur busted in on Cindy’s story to chase after Goldie, he stopped to hold the prince captive and asked for the prince’s shard. I bring it up because this will be important next chapter. Also, Cindy never takes this necklace off. Why oh why do you think it’s drawn here in a bit of disarray? A reflection of her feelings perhaps? Hm…
