“Mein Schnee” 61: Miss Muffet’s Journal, Pg. 15
Bit of a problem with the paper there, Miss Muffet? Try to go easier on it.
Production Note: I tried to get at a kind of crumpled paper look but I did it manually instead of stealing someone else’s. Not quite how I wanted it to look… It almost looks like she’s been sorta stabbing or tapping it though so that works, too:)
I have to say that this adventure is having a major impact on Miss Muffet and that before this adventure is over: Miss Muffet might go through a shift in her status quo within the team.
I fear Miss Muffet maybe sidelined for a while until she gains a grip on her overall mental state. I mean for one so young she is the most terrifying member of the group and one member whose impulses get them into more trouble given her lust for blood.
So something tells me that changes are coming for Miss Muffet, but whether those changes are good or bad is debatable.
It seems to me that considering the strength of the impulses Miss Muffet has to deal with (she’s sharing her mind, more or less, with a predatory beast), and that she’s only 8 years old, she has very good impulse control – better, probably, than a lot of adults.
As for the crumpled paper look, yeah, it didn’t look really like crumpled paper to me either, but clearly ‘damaged’ in some way so it does work, regardless. I think if I were trying to do that I’d actually crumple up some paper, take a picture of it with my phone, and go from there. But I have a hunch that that would…. just really not turn out well.
That could work and I should have tried that. Hm…
I do have to ask what your theory is on the state of Miss Muffet and her… monster side. What exactly do you think is going on? *grinz*
I’m working on it. I have a hypothesis but it’s going to be the 15th or so….
(and ‘exact’ may not be the best word for it)
The ‘Chase!’ in the third paragraph should be in spider-font, shouldn’t it?
Perhaps… ;) One wonders whose voice belongs to whom… But yes, I’ll fix it:)
Aaaand… I keep hitting update and it won’t show me whether it went through or not. It’s being a bit of a jerk right now, WordPress. Sometimes it does this. I do replace errors when I see them, though. Today I found a misspelling Dr. Muffet had in the beginning of Chapter 1 and corrected that.
It’s still not fixed, so you probably gave up on it long ago.
(I haven’t read the journals for a long time and stumbled on this while figuring out for how long exactly – apparantly it has been less than a year)
(It seems that I tried and failed to catch up on the journals last year: despite having commented here in june, last year’s april’s pages are still new to me.
