I think this is Goldie’s way of saying the old phrase: “ What happens in this room, Stays in this room,â€â€™to the other members of the team when it comes to her actions in calming Cindy down from her anger being unleashed.
I think you’re right, as far as Goldie’s intentions. But information of this sort seems to escape sooner or later at least in part, sometimes wildly distorted.
Telling up front may be the better (and less embarrassing) plan.
Up front is not Goldie’s way LOL, but yes, it may have been easier. There is a lot going on however so she’d prefer to deal with a raging dwarf than talk of “feelings” at the moment, or anytime soon. Just how she is. With their personalities. Any other character is more likely to bring up the matter before Goldie does.
