“So… Do you think she drank the woman’s blood?”
Actually, no. I think that she’s terribly tempted to, but I think that she’s fighting her predatory instinct and holding it together *just* enough to not feed on Sweeney’s victim’s blood. But her fight against the feeding instinct seems to have kicked in a protective instinct that has blinded her ability to differentiate friend from foe. It’s going to take a bit of time and patience for Alice to talk her down from it.
You are very close, Reynard:) She did not get a chance to feed and yes, her predatory and protective instincts kicked in but it was to protect her… food. She’s trying to either scare or do in Sweeney while making a retreat with her meal, just like you’d see an animal do. If left alone with the woman, at least this time, I would say she would have fed off her. But of course her friends are there and are not going to leave her alone:)
Darn! I guess I’m just a bit too optimistic about how a Heroine is supposed to behave. Oh well. Maybe after all this is over with they’ll take her to an abandoned building and let her have her fill of rats.
This is a sound plan coming from Alice, but given their previous disagreement can David and Dorothy work together to stop Sweeney Time ?
I’m with David here on Miss Muffet not wanting to remember. And as my comment on the previous page – not remembering is likely a good thing…
Alice is the best choice to go after Miss Muffet… but without her, they don’t really have a good counter to time manipulation, which may be a problem.

Hence the keeping the woman away from everyone thing.
