I definitely get an innocent voice when I hear him in my head. Also, look for him as the star of the 100th Strip Pin-up that will go up the same time as our 100th strip on Monday. Yes, it’s been that long already!
The funny thing was, Jade didn’t even think about that when she was designing the strip. She just went, “Oh, Velvie can catch a turtle!” I pointed it out later and we were both pretty giddy about it.
Its amazing how many different fables/stories people will infer from subconsciously :). I still say that turtle had it comin.
The turtle… I laughed for like a good two minutes. Velvy has this look about him as he’s holding the empty shell which is just like, “Aww, it died! Well…poop.” I love it!

The “la la la” makes me suspect Miss Muffet. Her mechanical limbs would probably be good for long-distance hugging.
