Also makes me wonder what is Geppetto’s ideas are for helping Scrooge ?
Geppetto’s reasoning is a bit sound, but hasn’t he taught his son not to lie ?
So isn’t he making himself a bit of a hypocrite in this case ?
Yes… The thing about Geppetto is that I don’t believe he lies. He doesn’t necessarily tell the whole truth but an all-out lie? Nah. ;) Hypocrite? Quite likely. Most people who are never realize because they can’t see it past the tip of their nose.
