I was trying to come up with a Pokémon joke pertaining to the sacks of money but… eh… I gots nothin’.
I can understand why the next entry in this storyline goes to Cinderella and that is due to her own history of losing nice things that she has received in the past.
I can also see that Cindy is truly a caring being and that she can understand Velvy’s situation. Enough for her to tolerate and at least befriend Velvy despite his ick.
Nice nod the the overall Christmas tale at the end of this entry as the scene reminds me of how the story is originally shown at the end in some interpretations of the tale.
I do wonder what is the next part of the plan is now that they prevented anyone else from receiving any more gold.
