Gretel is having her own type of recreation:) Hanstel did mean Velvy and his disease aura/”ick”. Dr. Muffet has not found a solution per say for Velvy at this point in time. And Hanstel stated last journal that he feels Dr. Muffet is one of the smartest people he knows. He respects and idolizes Dr. Muffet a great deal in fact:)
I find it interesting that Hanstel considers, at least in part, Gretel and himself to be the same person.
Also, Gretel draws smiley faces, and letters. And seems to know how to get her way, at least a little.
Yes, he sees them as the same at times, because they are never apart. NEVER. He will not leave his sister for anything as far as I’ve seen. Also, he thinks for the both of them for the most part, him being super smart and she being… Gretel. He calls them “we”. It’s everyone else who calls them the one name “Hanstel”, just for ease. And why not? Cuz you address one and you address them both so why not give them one name? That’s the theory anyway:)
Gretel can draw about as good as a 4- or 5-year-old, which is kinda above her mental capacity, but sometimes I think she feeds off Hansel’s smarts.
What Hansel MEANT to say before the first blue smiley face was “What can I do?”, referring to, as her big bro, what can ya do when yer sis looks at ya like that? LOL

Well it does look like Gretel tried to do something to distract herself while waiting, but it also seems that her brother wasn’t pleased.
Still, it makes me wonder if Hanstel meant Velvy and his abilities and maybe find a way to temporarily neutralize it. Maybe they can help Velvy ?
Maybe Dr. Muffet figured something out to help Velvy ?
I curious as of what Hansel thinks of Dr. Muffett and his genius ?
