I bet the thing in his pocket is his shard, possibly materialized by what appears to have been some adventure within his mind that lasted mere seconds (if even that) in real time but possible longer within his mind… that’s what I get from it anyway.
Is that a young Mother Goose he’s talking to? Or the Ugly Duckling? Or is it just a random water fowl? What are those little beasties he encounters, and why is that one on the far right looking all shady with the shifty eyes?
I loved your desert effect, btw. The sun was drawn especially cool.
Heather> :) Thanks for the compliments! As for the goose, it is most likely one of the geese from the story “The White Snake”. The beasties are a random clan of beasties he encounters who don’t have a name yet. They’re kinda like ewoks mixed with the wild things from “Where The Wild Things Are”. And that little one on the right is just goofy.
