Before anyone can ask, I shall answer! What the heck is “lanolin”? This factoid comes from Wikipedia: “Lanolin (German, from Latin lāna, “wool”, and oleum, “oil”) also called Adeps Lanae, wool wax or wool grease, is a yellow waxy substance secreted by the sebaceous glands of wool-bearing animals.” Interestingly enough, the first time I heard the word, it was used for the name of the female sheep character in Garfield and Friends, “Lanolin”. Yeah, the bossy one who had the brother with the surfer-dude accent. Heh.

Something different in this strip is the sheep is actually speaking. I was just gonna print the text on her side again but then I realized I wanted Midas to hear her before letting out yet another loud wail so… Yeah. Mother Goose speakin’ at ya through a sheep. Trippy!

And yes, her sheep spit cured him. Poor Midas. Will no one right him?

    Healing spit…..sure, why not!

Could have been worse, could have been healing vomit.

    That was a sheep cure.

Um, actually I went back and changed the rhyme a little so that it makes more sense. Sorry for that, folks, any who saw the other. You weren’t seeing things.

That sheep is a woolly deus ex machina ^.^

Telling Midas that he asked for this probably won’t get him to stop crying, but it’s something he needs to hear. At least he doesn’t have donkey ears (yet?).

And now that Humptey’s no longer a yummy yummy chocolate eggs, they can get Hanstel back on track!

I love this twist on classic fairy tales, but while I think the Alice character is well done, I don;t like her. No fault of yours, just her character. And what did Hanstel do there to Jack? Is he telekinetic? Great plot, I can’t wait to read more and I will add this to my web comics I check up on every day :D

Just came to read after seeing your fan art on Selkie. Definitely worth reading. I’ll be back to read more.

Khalia-> Yes Hansel is Telekinetic. They’ve also got quite a few tricks in that bag they’re carrying around :). Most of our heroes have a few extra powers that haven’t been revealed yet. You may just want to give Alice a chance…she might surprise you after a talk with an extremely famous legend. A legend so famous it spans multiple cultures by the same name!
