Greek clothes, and a Star of David? I can’t figure this one out.

I think you’re thinking of Orpheus.

I’m trying to make out what the book say, but can’t quite read it.

One of the last 3 heroes to be introduced. This character has been popular throughout our storyline but jade and I could never quite get a personality for him that was interesting or compelling. Considering how important of a shards hero he is, we decided to introduce him a little later so we could develop his character.

Along comes Jade’s friend Nannette, who is in her 40s and just started roleplaying. She says,”You know this person was also famous for playing the harp?” Light clicks on in our heads. Out with his staff in with the harp, keep his other truly famous weapon and BAM its almost like the charcter made himself.

so any guesses as to who this legendary character is? I’ll give you a hint. His story spans the cultures of several different cultures that are still alive to this day and he is of royal ascent!

Does he have some rather GIANT problems?

Heh funny, I knew who it was almost immediately. Guess my strong Christian upbringing did some good somehow even though I currently consider myself agnostic.

Hrmmm. Jewish star, mention of giant. David?

I was raised Methodist, but I have no clue who this is! The “giant problems” line makes me think of Jack the Giant Killer, but we already HAVE one Jack! So I am confuzzled.

…Icarus? I doubt it because I don’t think Icarus fits the nursery rhymes/fairy tales theme, but… only thing I can think of.

Hanako is correct! Although I’m pretty sure Beedoo knew :). It is David! Remember we aren’t dealing with JUST fairy tales. We are dealing with stories, myths, legends, and although David has routes in history he is by far one of the most legendary figures known. Even many people who have had no religious background often know of David’s brawl with the giant Goliath.

As another side note, David is our “oldest” shards hero. His story can be traced back much farther than any of our other characters :).

Oooooh, the Biblical David? Giant Slayer, King, Bathsheba Stealer? This should be interesting.

Aye, working with David should be interesting:)

The next shadow looks like Darth Vader

Hahaha, Darth Vader! Well we have our promised “secret” character with bonus content once we get 100 facebook likes. Only 11 away guys, and then we have one more….the next one everyone should recognize immediately once they see the hero….especially if we use color!

Oh and the next one has their story intertwined with both Cinderella and one of the major “villains” in the game! All three of these characters would normally not be interacting in their normal stories.

So how could I describe the next shards hero? Selfish, Kleptomaniac, and Perfectionist! With those 3, could anyone guess?

    Darth Vader, ha :)

Adding to TB’s comment, David was next in line to appear and there he is! Then Cindy (Cinderella) will be officially revealed (the early release was a little treat to our fans), then the klepto mentioned, THEN the secret character to be revealed early as soon as we get 100 Facebook likes:) I actually put the pics up in order on the character page so you can look at the sillouette and guess yer lil hearts out who they might be!

I just read the character page for David, I like the multiple-element charge of his harp idea, sounds very versatile. You mentioned before he is a supporter buffer, can he extend the harp-energies to his compatriots?

David is a natural born leader, tactician, and marksman. The harps energies mainly charge his sling bullets, but yes in certain ways they can be extended to assist his allies.

His true potential lies in his ability to notice the weaknesses of his enemies and be able to assist his allies in exploiting those weaknesses! The harp also has a bladed edge for when things get a just a wee bit too close for comfort.

Aye. In picking the look of David’s harp, I stumbled on an ancient version which had an interesting shape of the base. To me, it resembled the biblical “jawbone of an ass”. It just lined up well after that:)
