Whoa. I didn’t see that coming! The Candy Man is in for it, now! >=D
Just one thing, though. Doesn’t Dorothy learn about the power of the slippers at the very end of her story? In which case, how did she know to use them to teleport, since she and the others left Oz in the poppy field, before she received that information?
All of our heroes have undergone training at the Great Library, so all of our heroes are in touch with their most basic powers :). This is what Alice is going through as our heroes are dealing with the Candyman.
Well, eventually, she will. She’s still getting used to the place:) Basically, whatever was in Dorothy’s story that we’d know, she already knows without having to go through the whole thing. Alice knows this, too, but still finds a rabbit in a waistcoat to be something odd, even if it is in her story. That book is just screwed up to begin with LOL.
As I was driving to work yesterday after I posted, it occurred to me that it might also have been as simple as Mother Goose or Dr. Muffet explaining the shoes’ properties when Dorothy got there. “Hi. You’re here to save the storyverse. FYI, your shoes teleport you.”
Silver Slippers of Controlled Teleport.
YOU GO GIRL!
It’s gotta be the shoes!
Ha ha! Score one for the teleporter.

There is no place like… whom? ;-)
