King Saul, you’ll see in the final strip, has a giant K and S on the front of his armor as well. Maybe I’m pushing it making him a kind of incompetent-seeming and lazy, arrogant guy but David was the smart one to figure out all he had to do to intimidate all the Phillistines was to go out without any armor and bean some big bully in the head with a rock. Or so one version of the story says:)
For everyone that’s asking, and everyone tha’ts sure, yes that is our favorite fish girl. Jade lost a bet with me and the deal was she would have to sneak Selkie into one of the strips. You don’t want to know what would have happened if I lost that bet ;).
Um, does anyone read the Shards News blog section? I ask because I mentioned putting Selkie in as a cameo. The News appears just below the comic on the home page. I ask because I’ve mentioned that the Shards One-Year Anniversary is approaching and I want everyone to look there for posted new content.
I saw the news blog. :D And I just realized the anniversary day will occur during a trip out of state I will be taking, so just in case I can’t check in on the day let me say it now: Happy Anniversary!
