Well, today’s strip took a while also. It was neat figuring out how to portray everything we needed to get into this: The King’s knights and how their battle armor should look, how Goldie accesses a portal using her shard, what that looks like when she breaks through, and all the glowy thingies and sound effects in this strip! If you look close, Merlin is using a comm device, not telepathy, to communicate with the knights.
Also, if you haven’t checked it out, there is a new section under the Gallery called Full Color as well as the fact that I fixed the Voting Incentive Gallery page and put the rest up. The only ones not added up there are the last two I have up to make people vote for us on topwebcomics.com. The current one is a full color Lion Dorothy. Go vote and see!
Actually, TB explained his vision of the knights and their power armor. I’m using simplified versions of Warhammer 40K mixed with people you may or may not notice from history or pop culture LOL. Some are altered so much I dunno if anyone can recognize them. Any guesses? :)
Okay everyone! In case you caught our strip early, we did a minor change to it on the last panel and added in “The Prologue of Cinderella” into the final panel of Goldie’s prologue. Yes, she just jumped right into Cinderella’s prologue.
