Well, my monitor died so I couldn’t finish the strip Thursday, nor do much of anything on my computer, but I have a new monitor now and we’re back again! And finished! Wow, so much green…
Finally, may I present the Shards version of The Wizard of Oz:) Uh… Yeah. That’s really him.
I originally wanted to call this strip “The Wizard Of Loss” because the next one is called “The Wizard Of Boss” but his ‘loss’ wasn’t very apparent so I went with the going title.
Is that a iPad he’s doing the Wizard Illusion with? XD Love the technology angle!
Heh:) Totally comfortable with tech but you’ll see his abilities lay within the art of illusion and magic gifted by the shard, so he’s not actually as much a charlatan as he once was.
Well, it seems that nothing has changed for the Wizard if you’re following/adapting the 1939 film.
Ah, he’s more of a combo of the 1939 Wizard as well as the modern “Great and Powerful Oz” movie version, with a twist. His appearance and attitude is more like Q (Star Trek: Next Gen), Gomez (Addams Family), and Xanatos (Gargoyles) *giggle*
Awww… No one commented on who the illusion version of the Wizard looks like?
