But to answer the last two queries: It was not an illusion. Scarecrow is just really smart and you’ll see how he did it very soon. Make sure you read back over the last few journals, especially the journal where Shylock talks about how many shards there are on Dorothy https://56shards.com/2016/03/03/, and the extra bonus strip that came out: https://56shards.com/2016/03/21/
Hm…the marginally obvious thing would be that Scarecrow has an extra shard that he has been hiding from the others. This could be supported by Dorothy in the bonus strip, where she says that each personality chooses what the other ones hear.
However, how would Scarecrow have gotten it without the others knowing about it, given that they’re all seeing the same things?
Also, since it’s the obvious thing to do, I suspect that’s not what you’ll do. :)
Not necessarily obvious but a bit more difficult to pull off, as you’ve pointed out. The truth, and the method by which Scarecrow was able to defeat Shylock, will be shortly revealed, and I warn you that it opens a whole big can o worms ;) Just keep in mind that Dorothy and her friends in her head are a lot like always being in the same room together. You hear each other talking but don’t hear each other thinking. Yet they are all so open and very good friends, you’d think nothing would ever be kept from one another, huh?…
Shylock, I believe, has an idea of how they pulled it off but there’s nothing he can do. The stipulations are clear and he could not claim all the Dorothy shards in under 3 minutes, so he lost and now must give up his own shard.
And now you must wait till the explanation unfolds in the next few strips. Heh.
Call me confused, but how exactly did Dorothy and her friends win ?
Was it all an illusion made by Shylock to trick Dorothy into giving up her shards?
How is it that there are only 3 Shards and not 4 ?
All shall be revealed:)
