Oh, she played, but she played poorly. Has about as much skill as me — a person who’s never seen the boardgame let alone played it. It isn’t Dorothy’s fault she was thrown into it. It isn’t Shylock’s fault. He played fair. Mayhaps someone else is to blame? :)
I feel like it’s not over. Scarecrow certainly seemed to think there was a value to letting Dorothy make the last few moves herself, so I think he has some sort of plan. I hope, I hope, I hope…
What a dirty trick coming from Shylock and Dorothy didn’t even get to make a move.
Honestly it does make me wonder how Dorothy could’ve handled the game if she got the chance to play, but now we’ll never know.
