While I feel badly for Humpty’s pain, I do think at least a little celebrating is in order for now having one less thing trying to kill them.
And no, the troll won’t find any peace in his own story. No matter which story it is, the trolls are the bad guys. They don’t get peace, they get dead.
But keep in mind that we at Shards like to combine things and there are versions of the Billy Goats Gruff in which the troll isn’t killed or harmed too much ;) Mother Goose has told them that the removal of shards reverts stories back to the way they were so I am sure Humpty’s hoping for a better end for the troll in at least one version of his own tale.
Between Cindy and Humpty it seems that Humpty’s the soft hearted one of the group when it comes to living things being harmed. While Cindy has a bit of a cleaning problem and can barely tolerate poor Velvy.
