Happy St. Paddy’s Late!
Er… I mean “Day” ;) This is the pic I’m posting in lieu of a strip, due to the overwhelming desire to see someone being friendly to Velvy… and the fact that my arms are dead these last few days from bucket lifting, windex scrubbing, floor mopping, etc. Oh, and holding a 4 month old for hours at a time. Monday will be a strip, I promise:)
I don’t think I ever mentioned that I really like drawing Velvy:) This pic shows why. I love his long, curved lines. Sometimes I don’t even sketch him before I ink him:) I also like to draw him because he’s easy to draw, both in action and in stills! Looking at the pic makes it seem like Dorothy Conglom is missing her pinky finger but it is actually just hidden by the angle. I also thought it would bog down the drawing to draw all of her in the background. I just wanted the meat and meaning and to show you all that there are those who do care to be around the little guy:) Deep down, there are only two characters who currently want nothing to do with him. Two out of Eleven isn’t bad!

Hey everyone it’s Bunny and the Beast! <3 I've always liked the velveteen rabbit and have "fixed" his story on my own several times; it is good to see someone being nice to him.
Also apparently lucky clovers are immune to Bubonic Bunny. ;)
