Wow, this link is now fixed! Sorry about that… Did another fan art filler for the webcomic Coming Up Violet, this time of the character Melody. Admittedly my favorite, it is reminding me that I need to put another gallery on this site; one I rarely see on other webcomic artists’ sites: a gallery devoted to fan art from the artist to other people. I’ll likely focus on the art of other webcomic artists because, honestly, I’ve done a LOT of surprise art for people. I’ve been trying to adjust my un-working schedule to see if it is feasible to bring you Shards strips 3 days a week instead of 2 and wanted to know how you, our fans, felt about that. It would be M/W/F instead of the current M/Th. If I decide to go this route while looking for employment, you guys would get more strips, naturally. I would try and keep the schedule for as long as I could because we need more readers and the move to M/W/F could increase that for us. Whatcha think? Want more Shards?

Okay so things have been happenin! First of all at Coming up Violet Jade has done some cute guest art. Check it out and check out the webcomic. The comic’s artist, Misty, has been having some serious problems with bacterial attacks and needs some well wishes.
We are growing and we’re growing FAST, people are really loving Jade’s renderings and we’re now only 22 facebook likes away from our big bonus posting! Just a reminder of what you get:
1. An oh so shmexy of one of our unintroduced heroes (There are only 4 left for the main cast!)

2.) I added a more simple set of buttons to click to help vote for the comic on the upper right. Topwebcomics.com works perfect. Um, the Webcomic List is something we are on but not even I can figure out how to vote on my own comic. Suggestions?
3.) We have now got ourselves on Twitter! I guess I should use it more than this blog but… eh. I’m sure I’ll use Twitter more when we are big and famous. Name be “jadegriffingarg”. Tried to get “jadegriffin” but it was taken by some other chick. Blah. Why use my online name instead of something like “56shards”? Well, after attending about 10 years of Gargoyles conventions, most of the people on Facebook and Twitter who might know me may not know I do Shards, no matter how much I use FB to pimp it LOL. So, yeah! That’s why:)
4.) We now have people viewing us who live in Brazil (Ana, is that you?), Russia, Japan, Mongolia, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Serbia, and other similarly geographied areas. I’d like to thank everyone for reading the comic. Your support and feedback have been great so far and we hope to wow you in the new year as the story picks up pace. Trust me, Shards has a LOT of story! We hope to be bringing you Shards for a long time to come. One day I could even do a novelization of it, as I’m also a writer. All that is way ahead of myself. We’re in need of a lot of new readers. While we appreciate each and every one we have, we do need more if you want to keep seeing Shards improve. You see, I crave an audience! Must… have… audience! So if you haven’t yet or know someone else who hasn’t, get them to like us on Facebook! I sent messages to all my FB friends to get them to like me and they make up the bulk of our “likes”. It’s time to spread our wings, get some fresh likes, because Facebook is one of the greatest networking and advertising tools around. If nothing else, I’d like to see 75 people like us by year’s end. That’s only one more person! If ONE MORE person gets us liked by December 31st, 11:59PM, then I’ll post a special celebratory pic:) C’mon! Incentive! Weee!!
