You never know what kind of models you’ll need as an artist until you find something you don’t have in your repertoire… Panels 4 and 5 show just the mouths of Hansel and Gretel chomping down on a shard they snapped in half. Now, I’ve drawn growing and shrinking bodies before, but not a floating mouth. Oh well, we learn by doing!

Gretal grew tall, Hansel got small,
of course boys and girls are different sizes!
